Tori Warrior, MSN, BSN, RN

Tori Warrior is an Instructor of Nursing with the Nursing Department and started with NMSUC/SENMC 2019 as an adjunct Nursing Clinical Instructor, and then started as a full-time instructor in Nursing in 2020. Tori is originally from Carlsbad, New Mexico, and graduated with her Associate in Nursing from NMSUC in 2016. Then in 2018, she graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. In Texas, Tori graduated from Texas Tech University Health Science Center, with her Master of Science in Nursing. As a result, Tori is now a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

She teaches a variety of classes including, Health Deviations I, Health Deviations II, and Psychosocial Requisites: A Deficit Approach. Currently, Tori is part of the SENMC Assessment Committee, Student Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, and the Sigma Theta Tau International honor society.

Within the community, Tori is dedicated and passionate about improving and changing access to healthcare within the rural community. Her advice to students would be that, ‘education is not the learning of the facts, but the training of the mind to think.’
